Sizing tip: To measure head size, measure around the head where the base of the hat crown will sit on the head.
We suggest selecting a floppy hat size that is 2cm-4cm larger than the head circumference which you are buying for, to maximise the lifetime of wear.
The bow around the crown is adjustable and can be tightened to firm the fit.
Age averages: Our fini. hats are labelled by size, not by age. The reason for this is because a persons head circumference can differ extremely to another at the same age. To determine the correct fit for your child, please use our size guides available within each product specific to its design and choose via head circumference relevant to the person you are buying for.

Remember, a hat purchased too small will never fit but a hat purchased too large can be grown in to.
Care: Gentle cold handwash with mild detergent. Do not soak or bleach. Do not rub or wring. Dry in shade. Do not tumble dry. Rinse with fresh cold water after chlorinated pool use to prevent hat from becoming chlorine damaged over time.

Protection may be reduced if the material is wet, stretched or from the effects of normal wear or exposure to chemicals. For best sun protection use hats, clothing that provide maximum skin coverage, sunglasses, sunscreen and shade.
This hat does not provide protection against reflected or scattered solar ultraviolet radiation.
IMPORTANT NOTE;
This hat is made from fabric that is hand dyed and as a result, slight colour variations in each item may exist. Colours may differ screen to screen meaning hat colour may be slightly different than appears.

We offer free standard shipping on non-bulky Australian orders over $220. Please check item descriptions to know if your purchase requires bulky shipping.
Standard Shipping:
At Playdreamers we are proud to offer a low flat rate $9.95 standard shipping on most Australian orders.
We ship primarily with Aramex for fast, easy delivery.
Please note; due to rising costs with Australia Post PO Box and Parcel Locker addresses may incur additional shipping fees. Please contact hello@playdreamers.com.au for assistance prior to purchase if you have any doubts.
Express Shipping:
We offer express shipping with Aramex Priority, at a flat rate of $18 for non-bulky orders. Orders with Bulky Items please get in touch with use via email to arrange an express shipping option.
Express Shipping not available to PO Boxes and Parcel Lockers unless discussed prior to purchase.
Bulky Shipping:
Please check item descriptions before purchase. Some items do incur an $18 Bulky Shipping fee. If Free Shipping is selected at checkout you will be invoiced the Bulky fee prior to dispatch.
Click & Collect:
We offer free Click & Collect from our store at 1 Wharf Street, Forster NSW.
Most orders will be ready for collection same or next business day. Please let us know in your order notes if you require gift wrapping so we can have the items ready for you.

Who is Playdreamers?
Playdreamers is a micro family business owned and operated by myself - mum of three boys, Hannah.
We launched from home as an online store in April 2019. I'd pack orders of an evening with two toddlers by my side, spending late nights adding products to the store and sourcing new items.
During the pandemic I nervously opened our first brick & mortar store in Forster, NSW and in 2022 welcomed a third son.
Fast forward to mid-2024 when a larger space in a sought-after location was calling my name. We relocated our tiny Forster store from a quiet street to the hustle and bustle of Wallis Street in Forster; just off the bridge into town.
I am excited to have welcomed Chloe, a mother of two girls and dear friend, to the team and adore our days together bouncing ideas off each other and sourcing treasures for the children in your lives.
